I recently applied for a job at a different library. Long story short, I did not get the job. I am very disappointed and frustrated. Bottom line it sucks. But hey, I keep getting reminded I should consider myself lucky to have a job. Yeah, but I sure wouldn't mind a better one. Professionally, the last year has just been devasting to my self esteem. I know cry me a river.On a completely unrelated issue I recently joined facebook. The badge (what I earned a virtual merit badge because I can type in an e-mail address and a name) is now on my blog. I am already thinking my virtual life is out of control so I sign up for facebook. Yikes, at least I am not on myspace.
